Dear Diary,
"For the person who brings to life the nights of Ramadhan with prayers and with full conviction and hopes for the blessings and forgiveness of Allah s.w.t., all his past sins will be forgiven."
Been having terawih sessions at night at Al-Iman together with my nenek, my mom and sometimes with the bestie. So far alhamdulilah, managed to perform the terawih prayers with full devotion.
For those who didn't know, the meaning of Œterawih¹ comes from the word Œistiraha¹ which means Œto rest¹. The terawih prayer is thus a restful prayer.
Allah says in surah Mukminun verse 1-2
"The Believers will eventually win those who humble themselves in their prayers."
However, just some points I noticed during common terawih sessions in the mosque:
- Some of the makciks at the first saf will always peep forward and see the guys below who is leading the prayers, bla bla. God knows what their intentions are.
- Every night, the fastest ustaz will become the hot favourite amongst the people. In other words, lagi pendek surah bacaan, lagi bagus. Haha
- Syarahan after terawih always ends in 15 mins. Darns why can't it be longer??? Argh
- As the days goes by, lesser people fill the saf. WHy?? Simple. 8 rakaat, lepas tu cabot lahhh! Kiki
And the list goes on..............................
Yesterday night was one of the funniest moments I had after terawih.
My mom wanted to try out the free shuttle service provided by the mosque, so I had to follow.
And so when me and my mom was inside the shuttle bus, I was wondering how come the bus still haven't moved after so many people boarded the bus.
Rupanya... come this one particular nenek... Who was worried and looking for her grandchild, whom I presume is one of the regulars.
So she was telling the belia inside the bus who was in-charge of coordinating this service.
" Eh tolong carikan cucu nenek ni mana dia hilang entah."
"Hah.. cucu nenek yg mana satu eh?"
(p.s// Mcm lah semua org kenal cucu dia siapa. KAKAKA.)
"Ala... budak lelaki lahh.. pakai baju merah. Tolong carikan eh mana ni dia entah.."
So the whole bus dah kecoh looking around for a small boy wearing red shirt.
I even heard the makciks saying "nenek ke mana cucu ke mana."
HAHAHA.
So guess what the belia did???
He went to approach all small boys wearing red shirts and said:
"EH budak, masok dalam bas. Nenek kau ada kat dalam."
AHAHAHA. Can you believe it???
I was laughing so hard inside the bus.
But in the end they managed to find the lost grandchild.
He actually went out for a while to play with his friends while waiting for his grandmother.
HAHA.
Funny lah.
Ah wells, these are the funny woes of terawih.
Oh and mom cooked chicken rice for buka today.
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*winks
